Christos Barlos was born in Rhodes in 1949, but was raised and lived his early years in Athens. He attended the workshop of Decoration Applications at Doxiadis’ School (year 67-68) and he had the chance to be taught by the painters Dimitris and Chariklia Mytara, Petros Zoumpoulakis, the sculptor Georgios Georgiadis and many other remarkable artists. In parallel, he attended the other two Departments of the school, hagiography-conservation and graphic arts. Married with two sons, he lives and works in Zakynthos close to his great love, the sea.
1st solo exhibition: Sunday, 7 September 2008 at the Art Gallery of the Municipality of Patras, Palaia Loutra.
2nd solo exhibition: Wednesday, 10 March 2010 at the Municipal Art Gallery Lefa in Psychiko, Athens.
3rd solo exhibition: Wednesday, 3 August 2011 at the Art Gallery BARRAGE Culture in Zante.
4th solo exhibition: Friday, 25 September 2015 at Collegio L. Valla in Pavia, Italy.

In April 2014 he participated in a Sculpture Symposium at Ayia Napa, Cyprus making two large works for the new Ayia Napa Sculpture Park.
In June 2014 he participated in a group exhibition with 30 artists at the General State Archives building of Greece. In February 2015 he participated in a group exhibition at the Lefa Art Gallery of the Municipality of Psychiko.
His works can be found in many private collections and public spaces in Greece and abroad.
In March  2016  he participated among 76 artists,  members of the Chamber Of The Fine Arts, in group exhibition at "Agora Argiri"  in the city of Patras.
In December 13, 2016  he participated in group exhibition with greekartists group in "Argo gallery" in Athens,  on the journey in the broad sense.
1st Individual painting exhibition on March 8, 2017,  on woman's face, the edifice "Orange"  in Zakynthos.
